The family of a Milford, CT man who died last year due to cancer blamed on exposure to asbestos at a job site has been awarded $15 million following a four-week jury trial, Hearst Connecticut Media reported.
Nicholas Barone, 81, died last year due to mesothelioma. The suit, which included punitive damages, claimed he contracted cancer due to working as a process engineer at a Massachusetts plant from 1965 to '67. Read the full story at Hearst Connecticut Media.
